Service Provider License Agreement (EULA)

1. ACCEPTANCE OF TERMS
By registering as a Laundry Shop Owner on WashMatch, you agree to be bound by these Terms
and Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use our platform.
2. SERVICE PROVIDER ACCOUNT
2.1 Business Registration: You must provide accurate business
information including shop name, location, contact details, and services offered.
2.2 Verification: You may be required to provide proof of business
registration and legal operation.
2.3 Account Security: You are responsible for maintaining
confidentiality of your account credentials and all activities under your account.
3. SHOP INFORMATION AND SERVICES
3.1 Accurate Information: You must provide truthful and accurate
information about:
- Shop name, address, and contact details
- Services offered (wash, dry, fold, iron, etc.)
- Pricing and turnaround times
- Operating hours and availability
- Payment methods accepted
3.2 Updates: You must keep your shop information current and update it
promptly when changes occur.
3.3 Location Data: Your shop location will be displayed on maps to help
users find your services.
4. SERVICE PROVIDER RESPONSIBILITIES
4.1 Service Quality: You are solely responsible for:
- Quality of laundry services provided
- Care and handling of customer items
- Meeting promised turnaround times
- Proper pricing and billing
- Delivery and pickup services (if offered)
4.2 Customer Service: You agree to provide professional, courteous
service to all customers referred through WashMatch.
4.3 Liability Insurance: You are responsible for maintaining appropriate
business liability insurance for your operations.
4.4 Legal Compliance: You must comply with all local, regional, and
national laws regarding business operation, labor, health, and safety.
5. PROHIBITED ACTIVITIES
As a service provider, you agree NOT to:
- Provide false or misleading information about services or pricing
- Discriminate against customers based on race, gender, religion, or other protected
characteristics
- Solicit customers to bypass the platform for future bookings
- Harass, threaten, or abuse platform users
- Operate without proper business licenses or permits
- Damage or intentionally mishandle customer property
6. PRICING AND PAYMENT
6.1 Service Fees: You set your own prices for services. Prices must be
clearly stated and honored for customers referred through WashMatch.
6.2 Platform Fee: WashMatch offers the following optional service for
shop owners:
Sponsored Content (Optional)
- Pricing: ₱200 per article/blog post
- Duration: Featured content displays for 14 days on
landing/welcome page
- Benefit: Featured blog posts, promotional articles, or
success stories about your shop prominently displayed to all visitors
- Renewal: After 14 days, content moves to archive. Pay ₱200
again to re-feature for another 14 days
- Archive Access: Content remains accessible via blog
archive/search permanently
- Content Types: Shop success stories, special promotions,
new services, customer testimonials, or industry tips
- Brands/Partners: Also available for detergent brands,
equipment suppliers, or related businesses
- Content Review: All sponsored content subject to platform
approval and quality guidelines (reviewed within 48 hours)
- Maximum Slots: Limited to 5 featured articles at a time to
maintain visibility quality
Base Platform Usage: FREE
- ✓ Free shop listing and profile
- ✓ Customer booking system access
- ✓ Basic shop visibility in search results
- ✓ Customer reviews and ratings display
- ✓ Direct customer contact for bookings
- ✓ No commission on bookings
- ✓ No hidden fees
6.3 Payment Terms:
- Sponsored Content: Payment due upon content approval
- Accepted payment methods: GCash, PayMaya
6.4 Cancellation Policy:
- Sponsored Content:
- 100% refund if cancelled before content is published
- 50% refund if cancelled within first 3 days of going live
- No refund after 3 days of publication
- Content will remain in archive even if refunded
6.5 Payment Collection from Customers: You are responsible
for collecting payment from customers directly for laundry services. WashMatch does not
process customer payments on your behalf.
6.6 Fee Changes: We reserve the right to modify pricing for optional
services with 30 days advance notice.
7. OBLIGATIONS OF WASHMATCH
WashMatch agrees to:
- Provide a platform for service providers to connect with potential customers
- Facilitate booking between service providers and customers
- Process customer payments and remit to service providers (for platform-processed
payments)
- Provide customer support for issues related to the platform
- Maintain the platform's security and integrity
8. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
8.1 Service Provider Liability: You are liable for any damages, loss, or
legal claims arising from your services, including:
- Negligence or misconduct in providing laundry services
- Violation of customer privacy or data security
- Intellectual property infringement
- Failure to comply with applicable laws and regulations
8.2 Platform Liability: WashMatch is not liable for:
- Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
- Loss of profits, revenue, or data
- Claims arising from your use of the platform or services
- Service interruptions or platform downtime
9. DISPUTE RESOLUTION
In the event of a dispute, you agree to:
- Contact WashMatch support to attempt resolution
- Engage in good faith negotiation with the other party
- Submit to mediation or arbitration in Davao City, if necessary
10. INDEMNIFICATION
You agree to indemnify and hold WashMatch harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses
arising from your use of the platform or provision of services.
11. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
11.1 Platform Content: All WashMatch logos, designs, and content are our
property. You may not use them without permission.
11.2 Your Content: You retain rights to your shop photos and
descriptions but grant us license to display them on the platform.
12. TERMINATION
12.1 By You: You may close your shop account at any time. If you have
active Sponsored Content featured on the platform:
- Content will continue to display for the remaining duration (non-refundable)
- You may request early removal of content (no refund provided)
- Must complete any pending customer bookings before account closure
Upon closure, your shop will be removed from the platform, but archived sponsored content
will remain accessible to preserve content integrity.
12.2 By Us: We may suspend or terminate your account if you:
- Violate these terms
- Receive multiple complaints about service quality
- Engage in fraudulent activity
- Fail to maintain required business licenses
- Provide consistently poor service
12.3 Effect of Termination: Upon termination, your shop will be removed
from the platform and customer access to your contact information will cease.
13. MODIFICATIONS
We reserve the right to modify these terms, platform features, or fee structure with [30
days] advance notice. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
14. GOVERNING LAW AND DISPUTES
These terms are governed by the laws of the Philippines. Disputes shall be resolved
through:
- Good faith negotiation
- Mediation
- Arbitration or courts of Davao City, Davao del Sur
